Syria wins new bronze medal in the Asian Junior Weightlifting Championship in India

The Syrian national team player, weightlifter Ali Muhammad won a bronze medal in the over 102 kg weight competition in the snatch weightlifting, scoring 143 kg in the Asian Championships held in the Indian capital, Delhi.

Earlier, Weightlifter Muhammad al-Kateb won three bronze medals, the first in the snatch competition of 81 kg, after lifting 133 kg, while the second bronze came in the jerk lift, after lifting 169 kg, and the third in total.

The weightlifter Ahmad Al-Shamaa finished fourth in the snatch competition, lifting 133 kg in the same championship.
