Syria wins in the elections of the ATTU held in Qatar

DOHA, (ST)_Syria reserved a seat at the Asian Table Tennis Union (ATTU) after the  Chairman of the union Bassam Khalil won in the elections that were held in Qatar on Sunday. 
 
On May 7, 1972, after a  4-day meeting in Beijing, Asian Table Tennis Union (ATTU) was officially formed with 16 member associations: Cambodia, China, DPR Korea, Iran, Iraq, Japan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Malaysia, Nepal, Pakistan, Palestine, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Syria and Vietnam.
