Syria wins Gold Medal in the Arab Table Tennis Championship

Amman (ST): The Syrian women’s table tennis team won the gold medal today in the combined Arab Championship, currently being held in the Jordanian capital, Amman, after beating its Egyptian counterpart by three sets to one.

Our team qualified for the final round after leading its group in the group stage and beating the Jordanian team in the semi-finals by three games to one.

Our team was represented by  Hind Zaza, Anna Kurdish and Naya Suleiman.

Our cubs’ team won the bronze medal in the same tournament through players Ghaith Ghareeb, Zaid Qutini and Ibrahim Sheikh Taha.
