Damascus (ST) –The students of the Syrian Scientific Olympiad won four bronze medals in the 2022 World Chemistry Olympiad organized by China (remotely) on the thirteenth of July.
The Distinction and Creation Agency stated that the bronze medals won by Ahmad Ezz El-Din, from the third grade of secondary school from the National Center for Excelled students, Salma Omran, from the second grade of secondary school from the School of Excelled students in Homs, Salman Darwish, from the third grade of secondary school, from the School of Excelled students in Homs, and Muhammad Ghazal Hamida, from the second year of secondary school from the School of Excelled students in Aleppo.
The Agency explained that the group members were crowned in this annual Olympiad in its 54th edition, which was organized by China (remotely) with the participation of 326 participants representing 84 countries.
The Distinction and Creation Agency pointed out that the achievements of medals by the team members is evidence of the success of the studied preparation plan, its strength and ability to expand the scope of brilliant parallelism to all the team members and not relying only on individual cases. This contributes to the escalation of the team’s graph and the growth of its achievements year after year.
The Agency indicated that the four team members are participating globally for the first time and ranked second in the Arab world after Saudi Arabia.
