Syria wins Bronze medal in Asian Taekwondo Championship

Beirut, (ST) – The player of the Syrian Taekwondo team Abdullah Muhammad won the bronze medal in the under-87 kg weight on the first day of Asian Championship held in the Lebanese capital, Beirut.

Abdullah Muhammad won the bronze medal after beating two players from Nepal and another fromJordan, but losing in the semi-finals with a player from Kazakhstan.

The championship witnesses high –level competitions with the participation of 23 states from Asia.

In the coming days the players of the Syrian team will participate in the competitions of their different weights in the Championship.
