Syria wins 7 medals at the Taekwondo Arab Cup in UAE

Syria’s taekwondo team has won 7 medals ( 1 silver and 6 bronze) at the Arab Cup, which concluded on Thursday in Al Fujairah in the United Arab Emirates.

950 players representing 17 Arab countries took part in this event.

The silver medal was achieved by Mays Al-A’laf from the youth category, while the 6 other medals went to Mohammad Al-Ba’li and Nibal Al-Dawaleeb from the junior category, Aya Mubarak and Rose Ibrahim from the youth category and Alisar Ilias and Aya Al-Jerahi from the women category.

The other players were also good at the competitions, but they lost in the quarter final.

 The national team will also take part in the 7th International Tournament of Al Fujairah on Saturday alongside other teams from 59 countries around the world.
