Syria wins 13 medals in the Diamond Cup for Bodybuilding in Lebanon

Syria’s bodybuilding team won thirteen different medals “six gold, two silver and five bronze” in the Diamond Cup championship held in the Lebanese capital, Beirut.

The gold medals were won by : Jaafar Zahra (90 kg), Ayman Bawadaqji (100 kg), Physic Dureid Douai (under 182 cm), Rabea Hashem (up to 182 cm), and Masters Yasser Atassi and Wael Hassan.

The silver medals were won by Rustam Mikael with a weight of 100 kg in physical strength and Yasser Atassi for over 182 cm in physical strength.

The bronze medals were won by William Hassan (85 kg), BadrDeeb Classic Physics, Wael Hassan (over 100 kg) and Mithqal Al-Jermani, two medals in physics and master physic.

 

Head of the Federation of BodyBuilding Manar Heikal pointed out, in a statement to SANA’s representative, that the tournament witnessed strong competitions and extensive participation of players representing fifteen countries.

Our players were able to prove their worth in the tournament, as they climbed the podiums and were the focus of the attention of physical strength experts with their outstanding skillful performance, expecting the team more brilliance in the upcoming tournaments after these outstanding results achieved.

It is noteworthy that our team achieved second place in the general ranking in terms of the number of medals after the Lebanese team, which ranked first.
