Syria will overcome enemies, world arrogance,says Iranian VicePresident

TEHRAN,(ST)- First Vice President Mohammad Reza Rahimi said Thursday Syrian nation will overcome the enemies and world arrogance which use Islamic states’ oil money to kill Muslims there,according to IRNA.

In a meeting with Syrian Minister of Agriculture Sobhi Ahmad al-Abdullah, he said that the Iranian nation and officials are sure that Syria will overcome its enemies.

Stressing the need to promote Tehran-Damascus cooperation, especially in the field of agriculture, Rahimi noted that the two states can take major steps to increase crops and create jobs in agriculture sector.

“Iran is against any foreign interference in Syrian internal issues and supports reforms as a way out of the current situation,” he said.

For his part, the Syrian minister, referred to the firm resolve of the Syrian nation to counter the enemies and said that it is certain that Syria will finally emerge victorious.

He thanked Iran for moral support for Syria and said that Iranian support helped boost national morale of the Syrian people to counter the enemies’ plots.

Al-Abdullah appreciated Iran for its stances regarding the democratic reforms in line with Syrian territorial integrity.
