Syria will continue to confront terrorism until its defeat, say Sheikh Jabri and Archbishop Koreya

Beirut, (ST) –  The Secretary-General of the Ummah Movement in Lebanon, Sheikh Abdullah Jabri, and Metropolitan of Beirut, Daniel Koreya, affirmed to the Syriac Orthodox that Syria will continue to confront terrorism until its defeat.

Jabri and Koreya said in a joint statement, “Syria has been able to abort all episodes of the conspiracy since 2011, including the siege, targeting and terrorist attacks accompanied by Zionist attacks.”  They added that, Syria was and remains steadfast in breaking this conspiracy.

 

On the other hand, the two sides affirmed that what the Zionists are doing against the Palestinian people and their sanctities calls for the struggle and resistance of the Palestinian people to preserve their rights and defend their sanctities.
