Syria welcomes withdrawal of the armed groups in the North of Syria to a depth of 30 km inward

DAMASCUS, (ST)- An official source at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates said in a statement on Sunday that Syria welcomes the withdrawal of the armed groups in the north of Syria to a depth of 30 km inward, reiterating that the this move eliminates the pretext used by the Turkish regime to launch aggression on the Syrian territory.

The source said that the move was carried out in direct coordination with the Syrian Arab army.

The source added that Syria is for all its citizens in a way that guarantees the safety and diversity of the national fabric and maintains citizens’ rights and duties.

Syria will work to embrace its misled citizens, to immerse them once again and to guarantee their integration into the society in order to preserve the country’s national unity, the source said.
