Syria Voices Full Solidarity with Venezuela against US Flagrant Interference

DAMASCUS, (ST)- Syria has strongly condemned the US administration’s flagrant interference in the internal affairs of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, stressing full solidarity with the Venezuelan leadership and people in their bid to preserve their country’s sovereignty against the US aggressive schemes.

 “The Syrian Arab Republic condemns in the strongest terms the U administration’s interference in Venezuela’s internal affairs, which is considered a blatant violation of all international laws and conventions and also an open violation of the Venezuelan state’s sovereignty,” an official source at Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates told SANA on Thursday.

 The destructive policies of the US administration in different parts of the world  and its disregard to international legitimacy are the main cause for the state of tension and instability in the world, the source made it clear, pointing out that this situation necessitates the establishment of a new world order that respects international legitimacy as well as the sovereignty, independence and national options of countries and that puts an end to the aggressive polcies of the American administration.  

The source concluded by saying that Syria affirms its absolute rejection of the American blatant interference bids in Venezuela and renews its complete solidarity with the leadership and people of the country in defense of the its soverignty and in confrontation of the American aggressive schemes. Syria also reiterates that the Venezuellan people, who have been resisiting the American hegemony and arrogance policies, are now more capable to confront and foil the conspiracy and to protect the sovereignty, independence and stability of their country, the source said.
