Syria vehemently condemns the failed terrorist landing attempt on the Venezuelan coastline

DAMASCUS, (ST)- Syria has strongly condemned the failed terrorist landing attempt on the Venezuelan coastline, reiterating its complete solidarity with the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela in the confrontation of the US-led conspiracy against the country,  an official source at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates said on Monday.

The source said in a statement to SANA that such an aggressive act is part of the US-led conspiracy being hatched against Venezuela and implemented by US mercenaries inside the country, stressing that the aggressive operation violates the country’s sovereignty and indicates that there is continuous interference in Venezuela’s affairs.

The failed armed maritime incursion aimed to carry out a coup and destabilize the South American nation.

The source concluded by affirming Syria’s solidarity with the legitimate government of President Nicolas Maduro and by renewing Syria’s call for putting an end to the US interference in Venezuela’s affairs in order to find a suitable solution to the ongoing crisis in the country that respect the free will of the Venezuelan people.
