Syria: US hostile approach will lead the world to the risk of a nuclear war that everyone will pay the price for

Syria condemned the hostile approach taken by the US against the Russian Federation, by supplying Ukraine with long-range ballistic missiles.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates said in a statement on Sunday that this approach will push the region and its surroundings to an unprecedented level of escalation, and take the world to a nuclear war risk, the price of which will be paid by all the peoples of the world.

The ministry added that “The US and the collective West continue to pursue policies that undermine security and stability around the world through their ongoing unlimited support for both the Zelensky regime in Europe and Zionist entity in our region.”

The ministry noted that the American hostile approach, which defies international laws and transports advanced weapons to parties allied with it, violates arms -control agreements and treaties. This is clearly reflected in its support for the Kiev regime and its outgoing president to attack the Russian territories and destabilize security and stability in Europe and the world. In addition to supplying precision missiles to Zionist entity to launch a barbaric aggression against Syria and Lebanon.

The Syrian Arab Republic warns that the United States’ efforts to fuel conflict in volatile areas and provide its agents everywhere with advanced weapons will lead to the collapse of the security and stability system in the world.”
