DAMASCUS, Feb.23, (ST)-The Minister of Education Darem Tabba’a reviewed on Wednesday with Hana Yoshimoto, Chief of Education and Senior Programme Specialist from UNESCO’s Regional Bureau for Education in the Arab States, the ways of enhancing cooperation in the fields of education and meeting national requirements within this context.
According to the Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA), the meeting focused on the necessity of educating all Syrian children and keeping education away from any crisis as well as providing schools in Daraa, Quneitra and Aleppo provinces with wood to make chairs and cooperating in the field of developing curriculums.
Tabba’a asserted the need to support national efforts being exerted to preserve cultural heritage and to train teachers.
For her part, Yoshimoto talked about UNESCO’s keenness on enhancing cooperation with the ministry of education in Syria.
