Syria, UAE to enhance and develop cooperation

Damascus, (ST) – The Minister of Industry, Dr. Abdul Qadir Joukhadar discussed with Chargé d’Affaires of the UAE Embassy in Damascus, Abdul Hakim Ibrahim Al Nuaimi, areas of industrial cooperation between the two brotherly countries and their development.

Minister Jokhadar gave a presentation on the reality of the industrial and handicraft sector in Syria. He referred to the efforts and humanitarian stances made by the UAE to help those affected by the devastating earthquake that hit Syria last February.

In turn, Al-Nuaimi stressed the distinguished historical relations that unite the two brotherly countries. He expressed his hope that the resumption of Syria’s participation in the meetings of the Council of the League of Arab States will open horizons for cooperation and progress in all fields, which will reflect positively on the Syrian people and contribute to Syria’s recovery from the repercussions of the earthquake disaster.
