Syria, UAE discuss the ways of enhancing economic cooperation

DUBAI, (ST)_ The Minister of Economy and Foreign Trade Mohamnad Samir Al-Khalil has discussed with the UAE State Minister of Foreign Trade Thani Bin Ahmad Al-Zayyoudi the ways of enhancing economic cooperation between Syria and UAE. 
 
The discussion, which was held on Sunday on the sidelines of the National Day of Syria being held in the Expo 2020 Dubai, focused on drawing up new plans to achieve economic integration and to develop exchange between the two countries in some key sectors. 
 
The two sides asserted the need to develop transportation sector between the two countries to pave the way for developing commercial exchange and resolving logistic challenges that face this process.
 
They in addition talked about the importance of activating customs exemption.
