Syria to keep border closed and night curfew

The government team tasked with fighting Coronavirus has approved the continuation of border closure and night curfew , but it ended the restriction of movement between governorates  as of May 19 until May 30. 
 
The team has not ruled out the possibility of imposing 24-hr lockdown based on developments in the Covid-19 crisis. It stressed the importance of people’s awarness and adherence to precautionary measures inside and outside the home.
 
The team, in addition, affirmed the continution of night curfew during Eid al-Fitr from 19:30 to 6:00 am. While the time will be from 18:00 to 6:00 am after Eid al-Fitr.
