Syria Ties with China 2-2 within World Cup Qualifications

Kuala Lumpur-Syrian national football team tied with Chinese counterpart 2-2 in the game held on Tuesday in Malaysia within the 8th round of the world cup qualifications for Russia 2018.

Mahmoud Mawas scored for Syria through a penalty kick at the 11th minute of the match while Ahmad al-Saleh scored in the 92nd minute. China scored in the 68th and 75th of the match, SANA reported.

 The Syrian team remained in the fourth place of the group with 9 points, Iran comes first with 20 points, South Korea is in the second place with 13 points, and Uzbekistan third with 12 points, China comes fifth with 6 points and Qatar in the bottom of the group with 4 points.
