Syria takes part in the International Chemistry Olympiad (ICHO) 2020

DAMASCUS- The Syrian Science Olympiad chemistry team alongside other teams representing 80 countries took part in the International Chemistry Olympiad (IChO)2020 (Remote Access Exam) held online on Saturday. The Olympiads are organized by Turkey .

According to the Excellence and Creativity Commission of the Syrian Science Olympiad, the participating Syrian team comprised secondary school students: Karam Khadour from Homs, Ali Hassan from Tartous, Hassan Abdul Rahman from Tartous and Mohammed Bilal from Tartous.

The exams lasted for five hours, during which the students managed to resolve high-level problems covering different fields of chemistry.
