Syria takes part in the Asia-Pacific Informatics Olympiad 2020

The students of the Syrian Scientific Olympiad on Saturday took part in the Asia-Pacific Informatics Olympiad 2020 organized online on by Indonesia.

Students from 33 countries participated in the event.

Nabough Yasin, Director of the Syrian scientific Olympiad at the Distinction and Creativity Agency said in a statement to SANA that 27 Syrian students specialize in informatics from  education centers in Damascus, Aleppo, Homs and Lattakia, took part in the Asia-Pacific Informatics Olympiad 2020.

 She pointed out that the contests lasted for five continuous hours.

 Questions included several problems in English  that need high ability and skill in analysis and logical thinking in the field of software and Algorithms to be solved.
