Syria takes part in IPhO 2022 in Switzerland

DAMASCUS, Jul.12, (ST), With the participation of Syria, the 52nd session of the International Physics Olympiad (IPhO) for 2022, which is organized by Switzerland, kicked off yesterday.

According to press released issued by  the “Dustictiin and Creativity Agency),  375 male and female students representing 75 countries from around the world are taking part in the 5- day online contest.

The participating Syrian physics Olympiad Team is composed of secondary school students from the provinces of Damascus, Lattakia, and Aleppo,

The Syrian team’s participation in this contest coincides with the Syrian Mathematical Olympiad team’s participation in the 63rd World Mathematical Olympiad being hosted by Norway, and the participation of the Syrian Scientific Olympiad team for Biology in the 33rd World Biology Olympiad in Armenia.
