Syria takes part in 8th Iranian Geometry Olympiad
The Syrian Science Olympiad team on Saturday took part in the competitions of the 8th Iranian Geometry Olympiad which was held in an online format.
This is Syria’s fourth participation in the Iranian Geometry Olympiad.
Iranian Geometry Olympiad is a unique international event that annually attracts excelled students from more than 60 countries of the world.
The Syrian Distinction and Creativity Agency said in a statement that 17 students, who are members of the Syrian Scientific Olympiad in the field of mathematics, in addition to the students, who won gold and silver medals in the 2021 Junior Olympiad, participated in the competitions which lasted for 4 hours.
The students were selected from 5 centers in Damascus, Aleppo, Homs, Lattakia and Tartous.
Iranian Geometry Olympiad is a unique international event that annually attracts excelled students from more than 60 countries of the world.
