Syria Strongly Condemns US and Zionist Entity’s Anti-Iran Stances

DAMASCUS, (ST)-Syria condemns and absolutely rejects the stances adopted by the US administration, the Zionist entity and their tools on the current situation in Iran, according to an official source at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates.

The source told SANA on Tuesday that Syria is confident that Iran will foil this conspiracy, will press ahead with the process of building and development and will maintain the country’s role in support for peoples’ just causes.

Such stances affirm the destructive role being played by the United States and Israel to destabilize the region in order to dominate its potentials and resources, to control its national options and decisions and to weaken the axis of resistance, particularly after the sinister terrorist scheme against the region was foiled and more victories are being achieved over the takfiri terrorist groups in Syria in which Iran was a key partner, the source said.

It added that the Syrian Arab Republic voices its full solidarity with the Islamic Republic of Iran and stresses the need to respect Iran’s sovereignty and to stop interfering in its internal affairs.

Russia considers events in Iran as an internal affair

Meanwhile in Moscow, Russia considered mass unrest in Iran as the Islamic Republic’s internal affair and hopes that the situation will develop without any bloodshed, Russia’s Foreign Ministry said in a statement on Monday, according to Itar Tass.

“This is Iran’s internal affair,” Russia’s Foreign Ministry pointed out. “We express the hope that the situation won’t develop under the scenario of bloodshed and violence.”

“External interference destabilizing the situation is inadmissible,” Russia’s Foreign Ministry stressed.
