Syria Strongly Condemns US and Turkish Incursion into Surroundings of Manbej

DAMASCUS, (ST)-Syria has strongly condemned the incursion of US and Turkish forces into the surroundings of the Syrian city of Manbej, an official source at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates said, pointing out that this aggressive move comes within the framework of the incessant Turkish and American aggression on the sovereignty and territorial integrity of the Syrian Arab Republic.

  The source told SANA that the Syrian people and armed forces, which achieved successive victories over terrorist groups under whatever names, are more determined to liberate the entire Syrian soil from any foreign presence and preserve Syria’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.

 Syria calls on the international community to condemn the aggressive US and Turkish behavior which constitutes a flagrant violation of the UN Charter’s principles and goals, the source concluded.
