Syria Strongly Condemns Turkish Flagrant Aggression on Syrian Territories

DAMASCUS, (ST)- Syria has strongly condemned the flagrant Turkish aggression launched on Tuesday on the Syrian territories.

An official source at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates told SANA on Wednesday that “the Syrian Arab Republic condemns in the strongest terms the flagrant aggression launched on Tuesday, April 25, 2017,  by the regime of Erdogan against the Syrian territories, in which Turkish warplanes bombarded sites in northeastern Syria claiming the lives of tens of innocent Syrian civilians”.

“Syria stresses that this aggression violates the international law, the UN Charter and the good neighborhood principle and it warns against harming the country’s sovereignty, national unity and territorial integrity,” the source went on to say.

The source concluded by saying that Syria urges the international community to condemn this aggression and the Turkish regime’s policies that support terrorism.
