Syria snatches five medals at Fujairah Open 2019 WT-G1 Event

Abu Dhabi – Syria’s Taekwondo team harvested five medals, one gold and four bronze medals, at the 7th Fujairah Open 2019 World Taekwondo G1 Event being currently held in the United Arab Emirates, SANA reported.

Aouj al-Dhabi won the gold medal in the youths category, while the bronze medals were gained by Mohammed al-Baali in the cadet male category, Nebal Doualibi in the cadet female category, Ahmed al-Sayyad in the junior male category and Aya Mubarak in the junior female category.

 1265 players from 40 states are participating in this event.

Syria’s Taekwondo team in the previous Fujairah championship gained three silver and two bronze medals.
