Syria, Serbia to develop relations in several fields

DAMASCUS, (ST), Prime Minister Houssen Arnous reviewed on Monday with Serbia’s Ambassador to Syria Radovan Stojanovic,  the ways of developing bilateral relations in economic, investment, cultural and scientific fields, according to the Syrian News Agency (SANA). 

The agency reported that Arnous asserted Syria’s will to enhance and develop relations with Serbia and the necessity of forming a joint government committee to push the relations between the two countries forwards in various fields as well as encouraging economic activities by public and private sectors to meet the needs of markets in Syria and Serbia. 

For his part, the ambassador affirmed his country’s readiness to participate in reconstruction process in Syria since Serbia has an experience in this field. 

The two countries will also cooperate in the field of IT and developing Human resources.
