Syria, Serbia discuss development of cooperation in investment sector

DAMASCUS, Feb.10, (ST)- The Minister of Internal Trade and Consumer Protection Amro Salem discussed on Thursday with the Ambassador of the Republic of Serbia in Damascus Radovan Stojanovic the ways of enhancing bilateral cooperation in trade and investment sectors.
 
Salem said that the ministry of Internal Trade and Consumer Protection provides all available  support to  businessmen and investors who come to Syria to set up investment projects in the interest of all.
 
For his part, the Serbian Ambassador asserted that the Serbian businessmen and owners of companies are willing to invest in Syria, particularly during this period as Syria starts to recover and economic wheel began to run.
 
On the 17th on November, The Syrian-Serbian Friendship Committee at the People’s Assembly [Parliament] reviewed with the Ambassador of the Republic of Serbia in Damascus the ways of enhancing relations between the two countries.  
 
Number of committee’s members spoke about the importance of the new investment law and its advantages in facilitating the investment and attracting the largest number of investors, particularly from friendly countries.
