Syria, Serbia discuss cooperation in telecommunication sector

DAMASCUS, DEC.15, (ST)-The Minister of Telecommunication and Technology Iyad Al-Khatib and the Serbian Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs Vladimir Marić discussed on Wednesday the ways of exchanging experiences in the fields of IT and digital transformation.

According to the Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA), Al-Khatib asserted the need to reach a mechanism to transport postage from and to Syria via Serbia.

The Serbian official said that he will discuss the proposals with his country’s government and private companies, stressing that the Serbian government is interested in opening new horizons for cooperation with Syria in the field of telecommunication and to offer all possible facilities in this regard.
