Syria says evidence shows that Israel is behind the attacks on Iranian Natanz facility and Saviz ship

DAMASCUS, (ST)_Syria has denounced the two attacks that recently targeted the  Iranian facility and ship, stressing its support for Iran to defend its interests and to achieve further scientific  and technological progress.

A source at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and expatriates declared on Thursday that the Syrian Arab Republic strongly condemns the cowardly terrorist attack on the Iranian Natanz facility and the other attack that targeted the Iranian Saviz cargo  ship off the coast of Eritrea.

It added that all the evidence indicates that the Zionist entity [ Israel] is behind these attacks that aim at hindering  talks that are being held on Iran’s nuclear deal in Vienna.

“Syria sees that these attacks will enhance Iran’s just stance and they will not affect Iran’s industrial capabilities,” the source affirmed, pointing out that these attacks show the disability of Iran’s enemies to stop the peaceful industrial development and the other scientific capabilities of Tehran.

It concluded by saying that Syria expresses  its solidarity with Iranian people and leadership in confronting these attacks.
