Syria’s Victory on Terrorism Is in the Interest of All Europeans: Czech Politician

PRAGUE, (ST)- Deputy head of the Communist Party of Bohemia and Moravia, a communist party in the Czech Republic, Stanislav Grospič has stressed that Syria’s victory over terrorism and the restoration of stability in the country is in the interest of all the Europeans.

 Grospič, who is also head of the Czech Committee for Parliamentary Friendship with Syria, criticized in a statement to Parvda newspaper the European Union’s extending of the coercive measures imposed on Syria, affirming that they are unjustified and futile.

He said western countries especially Britain and France are behind extending these measures which badly affects the lives of ordinary Syrians and that they must be cancelled.
