Syria’s U-15 Football Team reaches finals of WAFF

Amman – Syria’s U-15 football team qualified for the finals of the West Asian Football Federation Championship (WAFF) currently being held in Jordan after topping Group A.

Syria ranks first in Group A with 4 points after defeating Lebanon (1-0) and tying with Bahrain (1-1), coming up on top due to Fair Play standards, while Bahrain came second with 4 points also after defeating Lebanon 1-0.

The Syrian team will face the top teams from Groups B and C to determine the top three spots in the championship.
