AMMAN, (ST) – Syria’s table tennis team won the gold medal on Monday in the women’s doubles match, after defeating the Tunisian team by 3-0 in the combined Arab Championship, which is currently being held in the Jordanian capital, Amman.
The Syrian team was represented by Hind Zaza and Naya Suleiman and added a new medal to the participating Syrian teams, where the junior female’s team won the gold medal, the young female’s team won the silver one, and the junior male’s team won the bronze, not to mention, the bronze and the gold medal obtained by Syrian table tennis team, Ibaa Hallaq.
It is noteworthy that Hind Zaza qualified for the female’s singles category.
She also qualified with Ebaa Hallaq to the final in the junior female’s pairs.
