Syria’s steadfastness changes position of regional and international forces- BASP’s forum

The Baath Arab Socialist Party’s Damascus branch held yesterday a forum under the title: “Syria’s steadfastness and its impact on position of regional and international forces”.

The participants in the forum focused on the Syrian Arab army’s steadfastness and the Syrian people’s support for it in fighting terrorism, according to the official news agency (SANA).

The agency quoted the researcher Dr. Osama Dannoura as saying that the ISIS and the al-Nusra Front [Jabhat al-Nusra] were created by western countries and financed by Gulf States in order to confront the resistance axis and to weaken the Arab armies.

Dr. Dannoura, in addition, indicated that the head of the Turkish regime, RacepTayyip Erdogan, is trying to restore the Ottoman power through his support for the Muslim brotherhood.

While the military researcher Dr. Hasan Hasan talked about the tactics of the Syrian Arab army in confronting the aggressive war on the country.

He stressed that the US-led coalition realized no achievements on the ground.

On his part, member of the BASP’s Regional Leadership Khalaf al-Miftah said that the Syrian Arab army is engaged in an unprecedented  war that targets the Arab nation ,not only Syria.

“The Syrian people’s support for the national army is an example to be followed in defending the homeland and the national independence at Arab and international levels,” he added, referring to the Syrian army’s role in preserving the unity of Lebanon and supporting the Lebanese national resistance.

Secretary of the BASP’s Damascus branch Dr. Wael al-Imam underlined that the Zionist entity [Israel], Gulf States and Turkey have been involved in conspiracy against Syria.

Since 2011, a foreign-backed terror war has been waged on Syria targeting its army, people, civilization and infrastructures in accordance with US-Zionist plot.

Thousands of terrorists and mercenaries came to Syria from more than 100 countries to fight against the Syrian army with the support of western and regional countries that serve the plot.
