Syria’s Olympic football team beats Kuwaiti counterpart 2-0

Kuwait – Syria’s Olympic football team beat its Kuwaiti counterpart 2-0 in a match held on Sunday in Kuwait within the 5th group of Asia qualifications that also includes Jordan and Kirghizstan, SANA reported.

Mohammad Kamel Kawaya and Abdul-Rahman Barakat scored for Syria at (10 – 22) min of the game.

The Syrian team also beat Kirghizstan 2-0 in the opening match of the qualifications.

It will meet Jordan next Tuesday.
