Syria’s Majd Eddin Ghazal Wins High Jump Gold Medal at Asian Athletics Championship 2019 in Doha

DOHA, (ST)- Syrian high jumper Majd Eddin Ghazal on Wednesday, April 24th, 2019, won high jump gold medal at the 23rd Asian Athletics Championship in Doha, according to SANA Arabic.

Ghazal’s new achievement came after he jumped to the height of (231) cm. The Japanese athlete (Takashi Itu) came second and won a silver medal after a leap of (229) cm while his fellow citizen (Tobi Nawtu) gained a bronze medal after he jumped to a height of (226) cm.
