Syria’s Imminent Victory over Terrorism Will Restore Its Role as Key Regional Power: Former Slovak PM

PRAGUE, (ST)- Former Slovak Prime Minister Yan Carnogursky has stressed that Syria is about to achieve complete victory over terrorism, pointing out that this victory will help Syria restore its role as a key regional power.

In an article titled “Victorious Syria” published by the Slovak media after he returned from a visit to Syria, Carnogursky said “Syria is the cradle of civilization with what it contains of archeological and historical relics.”

 He hailed the Syrians’ ability to keep steadfast despite the heinous war imposed on them.

 Elsewhere in the article, Carnogursky made it clear that the European Union is a subordinate to the United States and it has no political will to get rid of this state of subordination.
