His eminence Sayyed Nasrallah underscored that goal behind the ongoing War against the Syrians is but to destroy it and is no longer to “take it out of the axis of Resistance and the Arab-Israeli conflict. It is no longer to gain power at any price”.
“It could be said that the goal of anyone standing behind the war in Syria is destroying Syria so that a strong, centralized state would not be established in it, and so that it would become too weak to take decisions related to its oil, sea, or borders,” said Sayyed Nasrallah in a televised speech broadcast by al-Manar TV.
“Since the beginning of the Syrian crisis, a military decision was taken to topple the regime. It reached slaughtering people, calling for foreign intervention, the use of chemical weapons. Some scholars even issued strict Fatwas that permit the killing of civilians,” reiterating the call for a political settlement of the crisis.
Sayyed Nasrallah pointed out that because of what is happening in Syria, the Palestinian Cause is facing the danger of serious elimination, citing too the impact and dire consequences of the events in Syria on Lebanon, Iraq, and the entire region.
“Syria has real friends, in the region and the world, that will not let it fall in the hands of America, Israel, and Takfiri groups,” underlined Sheikh Nasrallah. Hopefully, anti-Syria ewes and their masters would get the message. Sayyed Nasrallah’s words are indeed deeds; our armed forces pursuit of terrorists is unabated; and any aggression against Syria would never be a picnic for the aggressors who would definitely pay a price much heavier than any price ever.
Thus, those “who claim they grieve over the bloodshed in Syria, those who do not want to lose the Palestinian cause, and those who are worried about Syria, should work to reach a political settlement and a political solution for the Syrian situation.” Accordingly, it is hopefully expected that those who support, train, arm, and mushroom the hired killers takfiris and al-Qaeda terrorists would refrain from their destructive policies and resort to reason, logic and dialogue in the interest of ALL.
