Syria’s Battle Waged for National Existence

Syria is going to attend the proposed Geneva 2  Conference but not as to hand power over to Moslem Brotherhood nor to those who represent Qatar, Turkey, Saudi Arabia, USA or Israel and others, underscored Minister of Information Omran al-Zoubi.

Minister al-Zoubi underlined that anti-Syrians powers would never gain through negotiations what they have failed to achieve through assassinations, terrorism, booby trapped cars and expulsion of Syrians.

Minister al-Zoubi pointed out that the battle waged by Syria is that of the national existence, resistance and Palestine before being that of a party or a state, asserting that Syria is targeted because of its Arab and regional role and because of its standing up to the Zionist project in Syria.

Geneva 2 conference might be considered as putting the beginning for a political process, outlined Minister Omran al-Zoubi of Information.

Minister al-Zoubi reiterated that the Syrian State would never negotiate about the symbols of Syria’s national sovereignty, national basics and geography.

The proposed Geneva 2 discussions should focus at the how to restore security, stability, combat terrorism, expulsion of foreign terrorist groups as well as at the building of a pluralistic political life and ballot boxes.

Minister al-Zoubi blasted the opposition lack of a united political project for Syria.
