Syria & Russia: Washington is responsible for deteriorating health situation in al- Rukban and al- Hul camps

Moscow (ST): Syria and Russia affirmed that the illegitimate existence of the US occupation forces on Syrian territories represents the main obstacle that prevents guaranteeing health safety for the displaced Syrians in the camps of al-Rukban and al-Hul camps. 

The Syrian Russian Coordination Committees said in a joint statement that the area occupied by the US troops did not have any medical supervision  at all, pointing out that the two camps lack qualified medical staff and medicine. 

The two committees renewed calls for speedy evacuation of all those who want to leave al-Rukban camp for their areas which were liberated from terrorism as the Syrian government has prepared the appropriate circumstances to receive them and take the appropriate measures to combat Corona virus on the Syrian territories.

The statement noted that despite the precautionary measures taken by the Syrian government to  combat the spread of the Corona virus pandemic, the US is exploiting the Corona virus crisis to launch a misleading media campaign to distort Syria’s reputation and throw doubts about its ability to effectively confront the spread of  the pandemic.

The statement concluded  affirming that the illegal US existence of the American occupation forces on the Syrian territories is the main obstacle that threatens the health safety of Syrian citizens living in those areas.
