MOSCOW, (ST)-Syria and Russia on Friday signed an agreement on Scientific cooperation in the field of space technology and remote sensing.
The agreement was cosigned by Director General of the Remote Sensing General Commission Osama Ammar for the Syrian side and by Chief of the Russian Space Agency Igor Komarov for the Russian side.
The two countries are linked to each other by deeply-rooted ties based on cooperation in accordance with a number of agreements and protocols on trade, economic, technical, scientific and military cooperation.
