New York (ST) – The UN Security Council will hold an emergency session tomorrow at Syria’s request to discuss the terrorist attack on Aleppo and its surroundings.
Syria’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations, Ambassador Qusay Al-Dahhak, stated: “We requested an urgent and emergency session of the Security Council on Tuesday to discuss the terrorist attack on northern Syria and the situation in Aleppo”.
Al-Dahhak added that the request was supported by the delegations of Algeria; the Arab member of the Security Council, Russia, China, Guyana, Mozambique and Sierra Leone.
Al-Dahhak stressed that the session will be held at 3:00 pm tomorrow, New York time, 11:00 pm, Damascus time.
