Syria reiterates its support for Palestinians in confronting occupation policies

DAMASCUS,(ST)_Syria has strongly condemned Israel’s crimes against Palestinians in the occupied Palestinian Lands, stressing that the Palestinian cause will remain the Arab nation’s central cause and a compass in the Arab struggle against occupation’ policies.

In a statement released today, Foreign and Expatriates Ministry said: “over the past few days, the Israeli authorities have carried out criminal attacks against the Palestinian Arab people, with Israeli extremist group’s breaking into al-Aqsa Mosque and attacking Palestinians.”

It added that the new attack means that Israel is going ahead with its plan to Judaize Jerusalem and to end the Arab presence there as well as to annex it to its entity in order to abort the Palestinian cause and the Palestinian people’s rights of return, self-determination and establishment of an independent state.

Israel’s inhumane crimes   

“As it strongly condemns the Israeli crimes against the Palestinians in the occupied Palestinian lands, Syrian Arab Republic reiterates its firm support for the heroes in Jerusalem and all occupied Palestinian lands,” the statement stated.

It underscored that the Palestinian cause will remain the Arab nation’s central cause and a compass in the Arab struggle against occupation’ policies.

The ministry urged the international community to halt the Israeli inhumane crimes that contradicts international law and the UN charter and resolutions, including setting a time limit binding Israel to withdraw from the occupied Arab and Palestinian lands.
