Syria reaffirms determination to confront the flagrant Turkish aggression on Syrian territories

DAMASCUS, (ST)- Syria has strongly condemned the brutal Turkish aggression on its territories and sovereignty, reiterating its determination to confront this aggressive Turkish behavior, an official source at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates has stressed.

The source added that Turkey’s aggression culminates Erdogan’s aggressive behavior and limitless support for terrorist organizations which have been shedding the blood of the Syrians and causing destruction in the country in implementation of the Turkish regime’s Moslem Brotherhood agenda and its expansionist schemes that aim at reviving the Ottoman empire and covering the internal crises resulted from the Turkish regime’s wrong internal and foreign policies.

The Turkish aggression proves that Erdogan’s regime lacks the minimum level of credibility because of its violation of and non-abidance by the obligations of the Astana process and the Sochi agreements, and because of its insistence on remaining in the same trench with the terrorist organizations, the source added, stressing that the Turkish behavior confirms Syria’s stance which stresses that Erdogan’s regime is ineligible to be one of the guarantors of Astana process.

The source said that the Syrian Arab Republic, which has been fighting the terrorist groups and inflicting humiliating defeats upon them in different parts of Syria, confirms its determination to confront the vicious Turkish aggression and put an end to all the Turkish intervention attempts in order to preserve the integrity and unity of the Syrian territories.

The source asserted that the Turkish aggression is doomed to failure especially with regard to reviving and rescuing the collapsed terrorist groups.
