DAMASCUS, (ST)- “Syria is ready to restore the services to the Palestinian camps and facilitate the return of families to them, ease their suffering and reform the infrastructure as soon as terrorists come out of the camps in light of the Palestinian initiate in this regard, “underscored Deputy Foreign and Expatriates Minister Fayssal al-Mikdad.
Al-Mikdad’s remark was made during a meeting he held on Sunday with Ambassador Anwar Abdul-Hadi, Director of the Political Bureau of the Palestinian Liberation Organization.
Both sides discussed the difficult situation of the Palestinian camps because of the infiltration of the terrorists into them.
Al-Mikdad appreciates the Palestinian stance as regards rejecting any foreign aggression on Syria.
He made it clear that Syria will deal with the Russian initiative to put the chemical weapons under international supervision in a credible and transparent manner.
Abdul-Hadi, for his part, commented on the Russian initiative by saying that Syria’s acceptance to the said initiative has aborted pretexts of conspirators against Syria.
“all gunmen must leave the Palestinian camps in Syria, “stressed Abdul Hadi.
Earlier,al- Mikdad met with a Yemeni delegation, discussing with its members the attacks the two countries are facing and the role of political parties in confronting them.
During the meeting ,al-Mikdad affirmed that the conspiracy targeting Syria is motivated by Syria’s support for the Palestinian cause and its resistant role for liberating its lands and all occupied Arab lands.
