Syria participates in the World Robot Olympiad in Germany

Dortmund (ST): Syria will participate in the International Olympiad for Robotics, which will be held in the German city of “Dortmund” from 16-20 November, with the participation of 2,275 male and female competitors distributed among 365 teams representing 73 countries, under the title “My Robot is My Friend”.
The Excellence and Creativity Authority said in a statement that the Syrian Olympic team participating in this Olympiad includes “Walid Shaibani, Sami Maarouf, Karim Madi, and coach Abdul Rahman Hourani,” as part of the robot missions competition for the upper category.
The Commission indicated that the Syrian scientific expertise in robotics will also be present in this international Olympiad through Dr. Muhib Al-Naqari, who was chosen as part of the jury for the competitions of future creators for the upper category, as well as Dr. Al-Mohanad Makki, who will participate in judging the competitions of future engineers.
