With the participation of Syria , The 23nd Japanese Olympiad in Informatics (JOI 2023/2024) competitions were held on Sunday.
The Distinction and Creativity Agency said in a statement, which SANA received a copy of , that 40 male and female students from all Syrian governorates participated via internet in the Olympiad, as part of a four-hour continuous test in the distinction centers in the governorates. The Olympiad included 5 competitive programming problems of a high level in English language.
It is noteworthy that Syria is participating for the first time in this Olympiad, in its version available to all countries of the world, based on the continuous desire for excellence and keeping pace with international Olympiads, to raise the level of participation and experience new challenges.
The 23nd Japanese Olympiad in Informatics (JOI 2023/2024) Final Round is held from Sunday, February the 4th to Monday, February the 5th.
