Syria participates in the eleventh World Urban Forum in Poland

Katowice-Poland, (ST) –  Syria is participating in the eleventh World Urban Forum, which kicked off today in Katowice, Poland, with a delegation headed by the Minister of Public Works and Housing, Eng. SuhailAbdel Latif, and in the presence of the Syrian Ambassador, Radwan Lutfi.

During a meeting on the sidelines of the forum, Minister Abdel Latif discussed with the Executive Director of the United Nations Human Settlements Program, Maimouna Muhammad Sharif means of enhancing bilateral cooperation within a new framework and according to a time-bound program, especially in the field of housing, urban planning and real estate interests.

During the meeting, the climate change problems were discussed.

The eleventh World Urban Forum will continue until June 30.
