Syria Participates in the Asian and Pacific Informatics Olympiad in Uzbekistan

Syrian Scientific Olympiad students participated in the Asian and Pacific Informatics Olympiad (APIO) 2025, which is being organized remotely by the Republic of Uzbekistan on May 17 and 18, with participation of students from 34 countries around the world.

The Excellence and Creativity Authority stated that 24 male and female students, members of the Syrian Scientific Olympiad team specializing in informatics, participated in this Olympiad from provincial centers.

The authority indicated that the duration of the test was 5 continuous hours, consisting of three programming tasks to be solved by the participants within the specified time using the C++ programming language.

The authority noted that the test was conducted over two days to give participants the opportunity to engage with the test at a time that suited them.
