Syria Participates in the Asia-Pacific Mathematics Olympiad

Syria participated in the 2025 Asia-Pacific Mathematics Olympiad (APMO), which was held remotely yesterday, with the participation of students from 49 countries.

The Excellence and Creativity Authority stated in a post on its official Facebook page that a number of old and new students from the Syrian Science Olympiad team in mathematics represented Syria in this participation..
The exam was conducted at the Authority’s headquarters in Damascus and included five mathematical problems over a period of four consecutive hours.
This is Syria’s 15th participation in the Asia-Pacific Mathematics Olympiad.
